Landing Page vs Business Website: Which One Does a Small Business Need?
The difference is not simply one page versus five pages. The real difference is how much information a customer needs before they are comfortable contacting or buying from you.
Choose a landing page when the offer is simple
One page is usually enough when you sell one core service, promote one campaign or want one clear action. A good landing page can still contain an introduction, services, proof, FAQs and contact details; they simply sit on one page.
Choose a business website when customers need to explore
Separate pages are useful when you offer several services, need a substantial About section, have different customer groups, or expect prospects to search for specific services on Google.
Do not buy pages you cannot fill
Thin pages with two paragraphs each do not make a business look larger. They often make the site feel unfinished. Start with the smallest structure that can explain the business properly and add pages when there is a real reason.
SiteFoundry's rule of thumb
If you can explain the offer, proof and next step clearly on one page, use the RM800 Landing Page. If customers need to compare several services or learn more about the company before contacting you, use the RM1,500 Business Website.
