Website Design Price Malaysia: What RM800, RM1,500 and RM3,000 Covers
There is no single correct price for a website in Malaysia. A one-page service site and an ecommerce store are different jobs. The useful question is not “what does a website cost?” but “what does my business need the website to do?”
RM800: when one page is enough
A landing page works when you have one main offer and one main action, such as WhatsApp, booking or enquiry. It should still explain the offer, show enough trust information and answer common objections. Paying for five pages just because five pages sounds more professional usually adds work without adding value.
- — One focused page
- — WhatsApp or contact form
- — Hosting for one year
- — Two revision rounds
RM1,500: when customers need more information
A business website gives separate space to services, company information, proof and contact details. It is a better fit when prospects compare providers or need to understand several services before contacting you.
- — Up to five pages
- — Basic SEO setup
- — Three months technical maintenance
- — 50% to start or 5% off when paid in full
RM3,000: when the website must take orders
Ecommerce changes the job because products, payment and shipping have to work together. SiteFoundry keeps this package deliberately small: up to 20 products and standard WooCommerce setup. If your operation is more complicated, it is better to identify that before payment than hide it inside a low headline price.
What usually increases the price
Extra pages, large product catalogues, multilingual content, custom integrations, copywriting and unusual functionality all add work. A clear package should tell you what is included before the project starts.
- — More pages or products
- — Custom integrations
- — Multiple languages
- — Complex booking or membership systems
- — Content creation beyond the agreed scope
